This week we present you the minimalist and beautiful Les Heures Claires.

The Les Heures Claires is a project by AABE Erpicum and Partners. The project involved the renovation and transformation of a house in the suburbs into a contemporary residential building. The owner wanted everything to have a fresh perspective, to be rethought and reworked. The result was a perfect minimalist master piece. The white walls, clean interiors, the different types of wood, the huge glass windows… everything looks breath taking.

Well, this house is simply astonishing, is the perfect project to close the year. The house is minimalist, modern and really beautiful…everything we need to give us an extra ‘gas’ to start a new year. As for me, once again I want to move in… I would like to wish all of you a Happy New Year, see you guys next year.

Two weeks ago we presented you the WTF Series, showing you some really creative artworks from Minga, a small creativity & design boutique based in Argentina. Their simple and beautiful posters about some cool WTF moments were really cool and got a lot of attention, so they decided to create the WTF Series 2, that you will be able to check out here.

A good dose of humor and a beautiful and simple design resulted in a really nice series. So here is the second round of WTF moments!! Enjoy.

WTF Series is about things that happen to us while living a normal life… when you clearly don’t understand why those things happened! They’re usually out of the ordinary things that occur to all of us but are sometimes hard to believe. It began as an in-house joke here in the studio so we decided to make it a “Design Piece”.

We wanted to create some funny, where people can laugh about WTF situations, and we create a poster series about it.

Norwegian firm formed in 1995 by Hakon and Elnar Jarmund Vigsnaes, Jarmund/Vigsnaes Architects collect good work in an extensive repertoire of architecture. They currently have a third partner Alessandra Kosberg and are one of the highlights in the beautiful architectural scene in Norway.

Elnar Jarmund and Hakon Vigsnaes born in 1962 in Oslo, Norway and studied together in the Oslo School of Architecture graduates, leaving in 1987 and 1989. Hakon spent one year at the Architectural Associoation in London and worked with Sverre Fehn and Elnar from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he taught and worked for several years.

In 1995, Hakon and Elnar founded the office Jarmund / Vigsnaes Architects, after being teachers and have their individual offices. Today they get great importance in the qualified Norwegian scenario, with major works, many publications and an architects office with 13 employees. Since 2004, the office includes Alessandra Kosberg as the third partner. Alessandra also graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture in 1995 and began working for the office JVA in 1997.
